What is a Create: Above and Beyond server?

A Create: Above and Beyond server runs the modpack designed by the Create team itself (Forge, Minecraft 1.16.5), built around one radical idea: almost nothing can be crafted by hand. To progress through the chapters — all the way to the final rocket assembly — you have to automate, then automate some more. Each chapter introduces new production chains, and the pack rewrites recipes so that your factories are the only way forward.

The result: the single best pack for truly mastering Create in depth, and servers where player bases look like genuine industrial districts.

What to watch for before joining a server

Above and Beyond is demanding on servers: lots of contraptions run around the clock. Favor servers that are upfront about their anti-lag setup and run serious hardware. Also check the progression policy (chapters shared per team or individual) and the age of the map. One last thing: the pack targets 1.16.5 — make sure the provided launcher installs the correct Forge version without manual fiddling.
