Joining an ATM server without surprises
A pack this size is unforgiving: budget 8 GB of allocated client RAM (the CurseForge launcher sets that by default), expect a long first load, and pick a server with a real anti-lag policy — reasonable restrictions on chunk loaders and giant farms. Also check the pack version (ATM updates frequently and the server needs to keep up) and whether mining dimensions get periodic resets — a healthy practice that regenerates resources without touching anyone’s base.

› Can my 8 GB RAM PC run ATM?
It’s tight: 8 GB of total RAM leaves roughly 5 to 6 GB allocatable to the game, the bare minimum for ATM. It runs if you lower render distance, but 16 GB of total RAM is a whole different level of comfort.
› Where do I even start in a pack this huge?
